Public Dives
Visible to anyone on the internet. Your database must be shared as an unrestricted (public) share on MotherDuck. Anyone can view and copy the dive.
Organization Dives
Visible only to members of your MotherDuck organization. Your database can use an organization share. Great for internal dashboards and team analytics.
How to Submit
- Share your database on MotherDuck:
CREATE SHARE my_share FROM my_db; - Build a Dive that references your shared database
- Submit it through the gallery — choose a screenshot, title, and visibility
- Admin review — submissions are reviewed before appearing in the gallery
To make your dive public, your share must have unrestricted access. You can update an existing share: ALTER SHARE my_share SET ACCESS = 'PUBLIC';
Tips
Your dive gets its own dedicated page with a live interactive embed, so visitors can explore your data without leaving the gallery. Public dives also support copy to account — other users can duplicate the dive and run it with their own MotherDuck token.
