First, MotherDuck is available as a connector for ChatGPT, allowing users to connect their MotherDuck data warehouse directly to ChatGPT and explore their data with natural language — no SQL required. ChatGPT acts as an AI-powered data analyst, iterating through exploration, validation, and visualization to surface answers from your MotherDuck databases.
Second, OpenAI models can be used as a provider for MotherDuck's in-database AI SQL functions (such as prompt()), letting analysts call GPT models directly from SQL to summarize, classify, extract, and enrich data at the row level — without moving data out of the warehouse.
Together, these integrations combine OpenAI's frontier models with MotherDuck's serverless DuckDB engine to make data analysis accessible to every team member.
